Nutrition and Eating Better

Programming Information

Through our nutrition programming, we aim to help students develop good eating habits by offering practical tips that is great for a busy lifestyle. We educate students on Canada’s food guide, the importance of micro and macro nutrients, and teach students how to read nutrition labels. We also offer tips and guidance on how to incorporate healthy eating into a student lifestyle and budget.

Eating Disorders Support

Resource Description
National Eating Disorder Information Centre NEDIC brings focus, awareness and the prevention of eating disorders, food and weight preoccupation, and disordered eating by providing information and support.
Sheena’s Place: Support for eating disorders A Toronto based non-profit organization that provides support and hope for anyone aged 17 and over, families and friends that have been affected by eating disorders through resources, support groups and other services.
