Racialized Students Support Group

UPDATE: SCHW’s Racialized Students Support Group

Hello,

We are connecting with you to announce some very exciting news. Student Counselling, Health & Well-being (SCHW) will be starting a Racialized Students Support Group in July.

About the Racialized Students Support Group

The Racialized Students Support Group is a group facilitated by two racialized counsellors at SCHW. The weekly drop-in group provides a safe space for students who identify as Black, Indigenous or a Person of Colour (BIPOC) to reflect on their identities, experiences, and challenges and to build community. A focus of the group will placed on processing and healing from racial trauma.

When do I join?

The kick-off meeting for the support group takes place on Thursday, July 16th from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. over zoom.

We kindly ask you to help bring this group to life by sharing this event with your peers who may be interested. We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Student Counselling, Health & Well-being (SCHW)
